Ron Paul is serving his twelfth term as a Congressman from Texas. He is the Chairman for the House Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy and Technology and he also serves on the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
He is a libertarian-leaning Republican who also ran for president in 2004 and 2008. An Ob-Gyn by training, Paul has served as a doctor in the U.S. Air Force and National Guard.
